What is StartingPoint? StartingPoint is a casual, small group environment where people can explore faith and experience community. StartingPoint groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity.
Who is StartingPoint for? Seekers - those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible or Christianity Starters - those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ Returners- those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while or are new to this church Where does it take place? This group experience is offered at the church, generally on Wednesday nights. You will enjoy a small group enviroment that will help you to connect with God, change your life, and get started with new friends at the ASSEMBLY. Dress comfortably, grab a cup of coffee or juice, feel free to ask any questions whatsoever, invite a friend to join you, and start fresh in your relationship with God. Attending a new church is a great time for new beginnings. StartingPoint is a great place to start--without getting overwhelmed by the crowd. Several environments have been designed to help people get to know others in the church. Opportunities available right now include:
Dinner4Eight: Once a quarter—enjoy dinner out with others in the church and community MarriedLife Live: Once a quarter—a fun, informative night with other couples designed to encourage and strengthen marriages. MORE MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers): Twice a month, gather with other mothers for friendship, encouragement and support. Family River Service: Once every few months—bring the entire family to this prayer-filled service--followed by refreshments in the STADIUM. MORE

Core Courses Class 401: How to share your faith CLASS 101: StartingPoint: CLASS 201: How to Join the Assembly Family CLASS 301: How to Get Involved In a Ministry CLASS 401: How to Share Your Faith Sunday School Sunday School classes are provided for all ages every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:15 AM. One of the best things about Sunday School is that while you are enjoying your class, your children are learning with others, their own age, at the same time. Teachers are preparing during the week to teach your children about God and the Bible. Bringing our children to Sunday School is one of the best spiritual investments we can make! Currently, two adult classes meet. Bring your Bible, grab a cup of coffee, and grow together as a family. Community Groups
