What adjective best characterizes your faith?

Would you say it’s dynamic…genuine…flourishing?

Or would elusive…stalled…ineffective describe it better?

 

Imagine how different your outlook on life would be if you had absolute confidence that God was with you.  Imagine how differently you would respond to difficulties, temptations, and even good things if you knew with certainty that God was in all of it and was planning to leverage it for good.  In other words, imagine what it would be like to have perfect faith.  This 6 week study builds a biblical case for 5 things God uses to grow BIG faith!  Get in the game!!

 

On Sept. 12 & 19 we will introduce you to our current group leaders at the end of each service.  We’ll also be giving out “Playbooks” to help answer any questions.   All groups will begin a six week DVD study on “God’s Playbook on How to Grow Your Faith” –it all begins the week of the 19th. 

                        *  Try it for 6 weeks

                        *  Invite a friend to come with you

                        *  After 6 weeks: drop out, continue, or try another group

1.  What if you can’t make every week?  Don’t worry about it- just come when you can.

 

2.  What about your kids?  Most groups welcome you to bring your children.  Talk with group leader or write concern on your communication card.  You will be contacted.

EQUIP TRAINING DAY

connectedEQUIP – Training For Your Ministry

Everyone-please mark your calendar for Saturday, Sept. 25th.  To give God everything we’ve got-let’s prioritize some training.   We will jump in a few vans and travel to Monroeville for several District workshops.    You can choose from workshops in the following categories:  (children’s ministries, pastor & deacon ministry, youth ministry, assimilation ministry, worship & media ministry, disciple making, small group leaders, men’s & women’s ministry, care & outreach ministry)  The cost is $28 & includes lunch.  The church will pay half—so you pay only $14!!  

M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) mops

This is a ministry for mothers of preschoolers.  We meet the second Tuesday from 10-11:30 AM and the fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:15-8:15 PM during the school year.
