Kids Fall Harvest Party

Invite all kids you know (K-7th gd.) to our Harvest Party this Wednesday, October 27th.  There will be games, activities, prizes, and lots of candy!  Beginning at 7 PM, all kids will be split into groups and move from station to station experiencing different activities & getting candy. 

Community Giveaway - Light The Night

Each year hundreds of children come right to our doors at Halloween.  Once again, this year, as they come, we will be ready to show love & give information about our ministries.  On Sun. Oct. 31st we will be giving at two locations--giving away hotdogs, hot chocolate, candy, and invitations to our ministries.  It is a fun night for the whole family!  

Road Rally

This is like an “Amazing Race” type of event this Friday, October 29th from 6:30-9: 30 PM.  You ride with others, looking for clues and doing various tasks.  Meet at the church and bring a flashlight, Bible, & umbrella if it’s raining.  Sign ups are required.  There will be 2-6 people per car.  You can pick your own team or we will arrange for you.  The night will end with a great time together with food and drinks!

                                                                      8:30         Reach surprise destination

                                                                                      Party until 9:30 or later!           

Food:         Cheese, crackers, pepperoni, tray; bread bowls with spinach dip; apples and caramel                   dip; donuts, brownies and cider; coffee, tea.

The BRIDGE - Raking For Missions

Need help with your leaves?  Our BRIDGE Youth Group is planning to plant a church in Cuba!  To raise funds they will be going out in mass to rake lawns in North East.  They will be starting this Saturday and offering their services for several weeks.  Here’s how it works:

1. Let us know if you’d like your lawn done
2. Get the word out to your neighbors/coworkers
3. You will be contacted to schedule a raking
4. Each lawn will be raked for a donation of  $50-$100   

*if you have rakes, tarps, blowers, etc that the youth could borrow for this fundraiser, please indicate that on your communication card.  Help us expand the kingdom of God, one lawn at a time!

Kids Thanksgiving Dinner

Wed. Night Champs will be having its annual, fun, progressive Thanksgiving dinner on Wed. Nov. 17th.  This year, all parents of our Wed. kids are encouraged to come! 

After Service - Thanksgiving Dinners

Bring a friend!  Our services will dismiss by 11:30 AM and all are invited to gather for a Thanksgiving dinner.  To help with crowded conditions, two dinners have been scheduled following AM services.  Although we won’t be strict, we are scheduling the dinners by age this year:

                  45 & under:   Sunday, Nov. 14th

This dinner will be followed by table activities for kids, indoor board games for adults, and a turkey bowl game outside (football game using a turkey as the ball)!

                                                 46 & up:         Sunday, Nov. 21st             

This dinner will be followed by a singspiration (several adults singing specials) and indoor table games!

We ask each family to bring one of the following to share:  fruit salads, veg. salads, jello salads, veg. casserole, desserts, or rolls.  (Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and gravy will be provided).  If you are planning to attend, please sign up in the lobby or call the church office by Sunday, Nov. 7th.  725-3435
